Countries / Sri Lanka Exploring

Sri Lanka: developing export-oriented crops and value-added agriculture.

Our Sri Lankan projects are being explored and developed. Nothing on this page describes an operating farm, processing plant or export programme.

Development status

We are evaluating crops, land and grower partnerships. Our initial focus includes watermelon, tomatoes, sun-dried tomato processing and pepper — subject to feasibility, agronomic testing and buyer requirements. We do not currently export from Sri Lanka, do not hold farms there, and do not operate a processing facility.

Target Crop Portfolio

Six crops under evaluation.

Leaf and dried-leaf powder opportunities being evaluated with growers and processors.

Exploring

Land & Grower Partnerships

We are speaking with landowners and farmer groups about lease, revenue-share, managed-cultivation and joint-venture structures — each subject to land verification, soil and water assessment, legal due diligence and commercial feasibility.

Irrigation & Crop Planning

Water availability and reliability shape everything here. Crop plans are built around irrigation capacity, planting windows and the drying weather a processed line would depend on.

Processing Opportunities

Potential drying, cutting and packing capability near the growing area — pursued only against confirmed buyer specifications, not speculative capacity.

Export-Market Evaluation

We are testing which destination markets and buyer requirements a Sri Lankan programme could realistically serve before committing to production.

Have land, a grower group, or a buyer requirement in Sri Lanka?

This is the stage where partners shape the programme. We would rather hear from you now than after the plan is fixed.
